Bintan Lagoon International Golf is the only golf course on the island to feature 2 18-hole golf courses. Each designed by world-renowned designers: Ian Baker-Finch and Jack Nicklaus.

The courses struggled through the Covid pandemic due to a reliance on tourist golfers. But now under new ownership they are reinvesting in the course and a new Movenpick hotel within the complex.

The courses have historically been rated as the top 2 courses in Bintan. The Baker-Finch course is considered more challenging and winds through thick jungle. Whereas the Nicklaus course is a bit more resort style and has scenic views across the ocean.
