“The golf course is absolutely breathtaking, offering challenging play amidst lush, picturesque landscapes. The attention to detail in maintaining the course is evident, and it was a joy to tee off each day.”

“The golf course setting is amongst the best I have ever seen. In the crater of a volcano at 4000 ft above sea level. However the maintainence is below average and the greens are poor. Nevertheless we had an amazing experience here because the weather is 22 degrees and the surrounding mountains with thick foliage and clouds resting on the peaks makes it incredible to play in. The course is not very challenging.”

“I haven’t play in Timika yet, but so far in Indonesia, Handara is the only place where I wear a jacket instantly as tee off in the morning. Very cold in the morning, even at 10pm still feels like 7pm in Jakarta. It’s like playing golf right in the forest. Nothing special on the grass though, but the view and atmosphere is magnificent. But prepare to get up early in the morning, as the place is quite far from kuta and seminyak.”
