Suvarna Jakarta Golf Club (SJGC) is a premier 27-hole championship golf course and the first in Jakarta to mandate buggies on the course. Each buggy is equipped with GPS, ensuring a comfortable, premium experience while maintaining an efficient pace of play.

Designed by renowned golf course architect Robert Moore Jr., the course incorporates elements of classic links design, such as riveted bunkers, burns (walled canals), and expansive green complexes. A standout feature is the Elysian Fields, an innovative layout with three par-5 finishing holes integrated into a sweeping landform. This area features crossed fairways, shared bunkers, winding burns, and countless strategic lines of play, creating a truly unique golfing experience.

Suvarna is another top championship course in Jakarta. The length and challenging greens make it a real test for even the most experienced golfer. The clubhouse has lovely views and okay changing facilities but isn’t quite the champion standard of the golf course. Definitely one of the must play golf courses in Indonesia, but doesn’t give the premium experience you’d expect for such a high price.
